A gesture

The incident I am going to share today happened to me years ago, I remembered it because someone said something to me. It is not that great and it might sound stupid to some as well but it was an experience.

This was a few years back, I and a few friends went to a movie. It was a late-night show because that's what we preferred mostly. It was a good movie. We went in sat down, got comfortable. Next to me was another group of friends. It is always awkward when you have someone next to you who you don't know. The movie started and had these great dialogues and the girl who was sitting next to me was really into them I could make out her whispers "wow" and "That's beautiful" and so on. I knew she was the type who loved movies for movies and not the type who watches movies for statuses and peer pressure, like the ones, even when they don't understand and don't know the background they pretend to love it.

After Break We came in and sat in our seats, I didn't buy anything because we had our dinner before we walked in. The girl next to me bought Nachos, I think, not sure though it was many years ago. These friends they shared they were doing their thing, they were three of them.

After a while the girl who was sitting next to me whispered, she said "Hey! would you like some?" and she offered me the nachos she was having. This was something I never thought someone did in a cinema theatre to a stranger, I replied  "No Thank you, That was kind of you!". She made me think about my choices at that moment. I was soo moved by her gesture. I don't know what was going on in her mind why she did that, but it was a unique experience I had and I thank her for that. - Anif Xec

I wish someone Told you that.

Under the soft silver of the moon

A couple of years ago, I shared one of the most unexpectedly beautiful evenings of my life with someone special. We’d seen each other around before familiar faces in familiar spaces  but we hadn’t truly spoken until that day. Something just clicked when we finally did. She smiled and said, “Would you like to meet outside practice sometime?” I hesitated for a moment more out of surprise than doubt but something in her eyes made me say yes. That evening, I already had somewhere to be, but I figured it would be quick  maybe an hour at most.
