Textual Tensions (Ep 2)

His replies made the friend think about what they actually meant. Was that just a conversation or there was something behind that text? The friend felt guilty for not understanding him.

"Are you thinking about the gun today as well?" The friend texted the next day early morning

he didn't reply but the friend waited patiently. The reply was the way to help him open up what was happening

"not yet, but soon it will be" to the friends surprise he replied after a long wait

the friend didn't expect a text as the friend knew that he was in the state of mind where it was not sure wether he should be disturbed and texted to know why or to be left alone to clear his thought

" I wish there was something I could do to help you" the friend replied concerned

" you cannot help, you are my close friend but you cannot help me" he replied, being sure about his words

But then he wished his friend, helped, asked if he wanted to talk, called, met. He was sure that would never happen as the friend had problems to take care of,

"I wish I could do something for you" the friend replied asking again to be a sure and full concern

"It is okay don't worry about it" he replied trying to end the conversation, because deep down he knew that the friend had abandoned him, it was the guilt that was trying to help, not the friendship. The guilt of the mistake of forgetting the existence of a friend when needed the most.
