A call for help
This is to someone who I know is suffering a great deal of emotional distress,
I understand that there are things going on in your mind that take you to a very dark place, a place so scary that it looks normal at times.
The mind plays tricks on you, making it feel easy building up tolerance to that distress, finding more ways to keep itself entertained.
The absence of the voice that would not bother to tell you what you did wrong or what you should do, but listen to the words and fill your mind with their silence.
For once not complain and be strong for you instead of treating you like a stranger who you never spoke to.
To stand by the true meaning of being there, making the words more authentic then just saying it in a text!
There are problems but I can’t tell you if it’s going to be okay, things will be fine, they will resolve soon, you’ll find peace etc.
I would not tell you that you are strong or weak or just need to clear your mind.
I cannot do that because I don’t know if it’s true, but what I can do is listen to you and sit with you to help you share that burden on your head by a small gesture. Not by resolving it for you, but help you loosen up till you have that small space in your mind for rationality or any sense of perception that helps.
Don’t try to hard, just be there with all your heart. The sad can tell, and it just makes things worse! -AXM
